Summeria is a dependent nation in the New Dildo Pact, which is North of Floptropica. It is ran by Donna Summer.
History[]
The first tribes of Summeria arrived in 3134 BCE and fought each other for the next four and a half millennia. The tribes were Donna Tribe, Summer Tribe & Hot Stuff Tribe. They united as the Tribal Republic of Summeria in 1543 CE and became the Island Republic of Summeria in 1759 CE.
Floptropica invaded them in 1899 CE later in a Hawai'i style invasion and outlawed Donnarian & Summerian. Summerian began to die out in this period, however Donnarian was spoken in secret, allowing it to survive. In 1950 Summerian & Donnarian were decriminalised and Summeria was made a Unitary Territory. Even though the people of Summeria forgave Floptropica in 2001, the legacy of hatred lives on in Floptropica's name in Donnarian & Summerian.
Summeria was once Independent and they wanted their independence back! With protests and everything. However, when Deborah Ali-Williams Became Floptropica's president. She ensured helped Summeria Build up their economy. And now they're thriving and Thank Floptropica for helping them. They regained independence on 25 August 2024 and joined the New Dildo Pact.
The National anthem is set to the tune of She Works Hard For The Money by Donna Summer, and the State animal is the Donna Dolphin. Rochel Judonna Rosenburg is currently the prime minister of Summeria. She is working on a way for Summeria to bring in more tourists. For now Summeria has a population of around 124,000+ but according to experts Summeria's population is growing insanely fast unlike other parts of Floptropica. The main reason is because they Listen to Love to Love you Baby and just end up having tons of babies. 12 out of 100 births are intersex and one of those 12 on average changes their gender.
In 1950 a small group of Koreans fled to Summeria to escape the Korean War. They mainly reside in Donnaville, however, around 20 have been found in Summeris.
In 1955 many Algerian Muslims and Jews immigrated to Summeria for safety after a large war erupted in Algeria. Summerian Prime Minister Rochel Judonna Rosenburg is Algerian Jewish on her father's side and has opened up a mosque and synagogue in Donnaville.
Summeria appers on maps to be significantly smaller than every Floptropican state however according to maps. It is actually quite large. Radio Island (the largest island) is larger than Montani. The population of parts of Summeria is also mysterious because Summer Island only has 29 reported residents. Donna Summer has kept land and population details a secret so the answer will never be known.
The census, which is held every 2 years, is joint managed by the Summerian Taxation Bureau (STB) and the Summerian Citizenship, Immigration, Bureaucracy and Identification Bureau (SCIBIB). To change your gender, you must be above 13. If you are below 13, you may change it with permission from your legal guardian. You can change your legal gender in government documents and ID/Passports to any gender unless it is considered offensive/a hate crime. Some examples of ID abbreviations are: F - Female, M - Male, - X - Intersex, N - Non-Binary, O - Other, A - Agender, 2 - Bigender, 3 - Trigender, 2S - 2-Spirit.
