The Santiago Accords were when Jiafei Marcos, leader of Floptropica at the time, and Donna Summer met in Santiago, Chile to discuss peace and the official joining of Summeria into Floptropica. The treaty that was signed is set to expire on 1 August 2501. It stated that all Summerian companies must stop trying to support efforts against Floptropica and Floptropica must let Summeria act as an autonomous unitary territory.

Section 1
Summeria and Floptropica are no longer at war with each other. Summeria must stop trying to rebel, and Floptropica must give them autonomy as a unitary territory.
Section 2
Floptropica must respect Summeria's rights to the surrounding ocean and the land that it is on. Summeria must not take advantage of this treaty by extending it's EEC by more than 10 km off its coast.
Section 3
Floptropica has to defend Summeria in the case of invasion, terrestrial or extraterrestrial. Summeria must do the same for Floptropica.
Section 4
The Floptropican Armed Forces must not use Summerian land, airspace or ocean to train and the Republic of Summeria's Military must not use Floptropican land, airspace or ocean to train either.
Section 5
Floptropica must respect the indigenous people of Summeria and must remove all Floptropican citizens from Summeria by 1 September 2001. Floptropica must also respect the ethnic relatives of the three tribes of Summeria, the Xjia People, the Nickians, the Khøreans & the Cvmbertese, also known as the Cvmbertians.
Section 6
Summeria must respect the right for Floptropicans to visit Summeria, and to apply for citizenship, and Floptropica must do the same for Summerians.
Section 7
All Floptropican currencies must be accepted in Summeria and the Donna Dollar must be accepted in all of Floptropica.
Section 8
Summeria has the right to become an independent nation on 1 August 2026, 25 years after this treaty is signed.
Section 9
Summeria may gain independence after 1 August 2021, 20 years after this treaty is signed if a referendum, with approval from Chile, is held in Summeria.
Section 10
This treaty will expire on 1 August 2501. It is expected that if both Summeria & Floptropica still exist as functioning countries, they are expected to meet in Chile, if it is still functioning, and renew the treaty for another 500 years.
