Reina is the Floptropican "Antarctic Territory" of Marie Byrd Land. It is known for its below freezing temperatures that are lower than standard Floptropican temperatures. In winter the population is ~600 individuals while in summer it is 2,000+ individuals. Although referred to as "Floptropican colonies" they do not have a permanent population, and all the outposts are of a scientific nature.
Although Floptropica claims these lands, no country recognizes it, mainly due to the Antarctic Treaty System (Floptropica is not a member of the treaty). The outposts are resupplied regularly (every ~2-6 months) by the FS J. Furuta, a Larissa class ship of the Floptropican Navy. Both the Floptropican Navy and the Floptropican Coast Guard patrol the waters around the outposts 24/7. 1 of the 2 Iceba icebreakers of the Floptropican Coast Guard almost always operate in Reina as well.
It consists of 7 stations. The largest is Eden Jia Station, with a maximum capacity of 600 people. The second largest is Deborah Dunn Station with a maximum capacity of 550 people. The remaining 5 stations have a maximum total capacity of 900 people, with the smallest, Ussy Adussy, holding just 20 people. There are also 2 ports, the New Floppingville port and the (mostly reserve) Badussyland port.
Although Floptropica does not have a traditional permanent military presence in Reina, there is the Reina Self-Defense Force, under the supervision and leadership of the Badussy Army.
