Newgens are a type of Flop that joined in circa late 2022 to late 2023.
Some Newgens were simply trolls, wanting attention from the real part of Floptok. Unfortunately, the real Newgens did fall for their tricks, and thus gave them attention, which motivated them to make more troll accounts. As of now, all the troll Newgens are gone and are rare to find; unless somebody revives an account.
Newgens are either young in terms of experience, or in age, or both. They are not welcomed in FlopTok.
FlopTok does not tolerate gatekeeping behavior with the exception of hateful behavior.

Newgens make troll "icons". They were also known to add lots of annoying emojis at the end of their statements, as it is misinterpreted as "oldgen behavior." Some of these emojis include: "🙄", "😜", "😝", "💅" and "🥺".
Newgens would usually spend most of their time creating icons out of thin air with little to no reason. The icons themselves had no iconic attachments to Floptok, and they usually resembled Jiafei.
When Newgens created Floptok videos, they would usually use DaBoyzian slang, which has led many Flops to suspect that they were members of DaBoyz, DaGurlz, or their spies.
Fandom[]
Newgens are known to only get information from YouTube shorts. They make pages about characters and objects that don't have relation to Floptok. They "flopify" these unrelated characters and things to to blend their pages in the wiki to try to keep it from being deleted. These pages are still actively being deleted by the admins.
Here are some possible newgen pages that you should report to the admins, even if they are "flopified":
- Celebrities that don't have contributions or presence in Floptok;
- Real-life historical figures;
- Real-life countries and cities;
- Characters from unrelated media;
- Orphaned stub pages (orphaned page: a page that isn't linked to any other pages);
- "WIP" pages that have not been edited;
- Pages that could have been forum or blog posts.

Modern Newgen Behavior[]
As of now, most Newgens no longer troll/rage bait. Newgens are disliked by now for not knowing old Floptok memes and their overusage of "Rose toy" and "POOSAY 😍💅" memes.
Other Platforms[]
Floptok Newgens are unfortunately also active on Spotify and Apple Music, often hacking and hijacking Floptok icons like Jiafei and Emily Montes's profiles, doing problematic things such as putting sexual songs, self-advertising low-quality trash, and just outright displaying their newgen behavior. They are still actively hijacking Emily and Jiafei's profiles, and their songs are being streamed by other newgens.
The Newgen "icons"[]
The first Newgen icon was Meifei, which seemed nice in the beginning, but then Oldgens found out she was part of DaBoyz. She became one of the most dangerous DaBoyz soldiers. Meifei became one of only known "women" to be part of DaBoyz. Meifei was also known for stealing products from Jiafei, and then selling them (in one of her videos we can also see her making a collab with DaBoyz), buying her products from Wish, Temu, and Shein, and rigging the products to make them break faster or to inconvenience the consumer further.
She became famous for being Jiafei's sister and making products with her. Fortunately, no longer after Jiafei found out that the Badussy War III. Also, Meifei was suspicious since the beginning, she owned her own song just like Jiafei, making products just like Jiafei and being a skinny legend just like Jiafei; too much similar things. (Newgens are like copying Oldgen icons and making new ones like this). Fascinatingly, even in her song you can find evidence. In her signature song, "Sister is The Queen", the lyrics focus a lot more about her rather than her sister. For example, she mainly says, "姐就是女王", which translates to "Sis is the queen" or "I am the queen".
After her, many other Newgen icons came on Newgen Floptok like Beifei, Jiafei's other sister. Even if they were toxic, they are nothing compared to the newer Newgen icons, that they just pop out of nowhere without any reason at all. This may be caused by Newgens kidnapping victims of the Aesthetic Virus or people who somehow got Newgepossygrowtoxin inside them, and the victims were brainwashed into thinking they were new icons—however, this has not been confirmed and is just a theory. All this started to happen in early 2023; and because of this, Floptok almost died. But luckily, the brave Flops never sundered and fought the cringe and toxic Newgens and now Floptok shines like ever before.
Newgens were still on Floptok like roaches, but the Flops knew how to act right and knew our glorious Floptok will never end due to some cringy toxic Newgen. Even when more icons that were named "Cacafei", and "Watermelonfei" appeared, Floptok never died. The Newgens that liked Cacafei and Watermelonfei made many more icons but they began to die out in late 2023.
After October 2023, there were no more Newgen icons, after most Newgens moved on to Rose toy memes. Although some Newgen icons still technically exist, it's very rare to see them.
