The Khøre Rocks, is a Dependent Nation of Floptropica. It's composed of 2 Islands, Khøre Island (larger island) and Hyløs Island (smaller island). It was discovered by a boat travelling to Chile from Potaxiene and it has now been added to the official map.
The Khøre Rocks is home to many villages, most of which are bases or research facilities where Floptropican scientists work. The capital of The Khøre Rocks is Kyøz Village, which is located on the north coast of Khøre Island, it is home to 12 people which makes it the most populated village on Khøre Island and the second most populated settlement in the Khøre Rocks, it became the capital for its huge battery located just outside the village, the battery makes it a very secure place for its main government office, (the backup is situated in Hyløs Bay), this makes Kyøz Village a very suitable capital for the islands. The most populated village is Hyløs Bay on the Island of Hyløs which is home to 21 people, the landscape here is mostly flat with some hills, and the village is situated on the east coast. Hyløs Bay has been the official backup capital of the Khøre Rocks since 2014 when there was a burst in population, however, now most people have left for mainland Floptropica as there is more business opportunities there.
Language[]
The language of the indigenous people of Khøre Rocks is Khørean, however, some English is spoken here (by foreigners who moved there) but it isn't the official language. Khørean is one of the strangest languages of Floptropica, it placed 4th (after Lãǂ' Khò) in a reascent study of the languages of Floptropica, it is very hard to learn and no one has attempted to learn it, it's said that only ones born and raised with the language are able to speak it fluently.
History & Discovery[]
The islands were an isolated, uncontacted self-proclaimed republic that was hidden for many years in a vast deep sea on the other side of the Mapuchaina Trench until 1964 when Floptropica "Peacefully" took control of the island. On 1st January 2025, Khørea gained independence and joined the New Dildo Pact as it's 4th member.
