However, on that fateful night of April 15, the ship struck an iceberg and sank, claiming the lives of over 1500 passengers and crew members. The tragedy of the Flopanic was a shocking, heart-wrenching event that shook the entire world and left its mark on history.

The sinking of the Flopanic was a devastating reminder of the fragility of life and how quickly things can change. The tragic event also brought about a significant change in the shipping industry, highlighting the importance of safety regulations and equipment, such as lifeboats and monitoring systems. Today, the Flopanic is still remembered and mourned as a symbol of tragedy and the cost of overconfidence.

A Letter found in the wreckage😢[]

Dear Sister.

I am currently on the Flopanic, and I'll see you in three days. I can't wait to see you again. Even though my trip with Daddy was fun I couldn't help but feel homesick. I can't wait to see Mom again too! I love our family so much.

From Albert.

Sadly Albert didn't see his family or his Sister again because he died in the sinking.😭 For more letters found in the wreckage, here.
