Badussyland, officially known as the Badussian Empire, is a country 100 kilometers away from Floptropica. Its capital and most populous city is Badussy City. Badussyland is known to have been extremely devastated by the three Badussy Wars, and most of the settlements in the country have been left destroyed. Badussyland is divided into 9 states, 2 territories, and 3 dependencies. The island only has about 120,000 inhabitants, and most of them are moving to Floptropica to find a better life. Some of the most famous attractions in Badussyland include the Castle of Cupcakkina, Badussyland Cove, the Royal Palace of Badussyland, the Nymphussium of the Merflops, and more.

About

Badussyland was once a vibrant tourist destination, but the island is now recovering from the Badussy Wars, with only a few thousand inhabitants still calling it their home. The once beautiful beaches are now littered with debris and garbage from the Badussy Wars, and the crystal-clear waters have turned murky and polluted. The only sounds you hear are the waves crashing on the shore. The people here are resigned to their fate, and you can see the sadness etched on their faces. It's almost as if the island is mourning its lost glory, and there's a palpable sense of melancholy in the air. The sad island is a lonely, forgotten place, where dreams go to die.

History

Early history

Legend says that around 2000 BC, a group of CaveFlops fled from the DaBoyzian Empire on a boat after being attacked by a few DaBoyz. Furious, they started paddling and they would only stop until they found a mass of land. After 3 days and 4 nights passed, they spotted a piece of land. Then, as they neared the piece of land, they spotted something in the water. It was a Merflop! All of the Merflops started jumping out of the water to welcome the new CaveFlops. Everyone started cheering as they got off the boat, but then, they spotted a DaBoyz chasing them. Thankfully, the Merflops started attacking the DaBoyz and he was defeated. This was the first known mention of Badussyland, and it was a story written by the Wise Mother Cake, who was believed to be a powerful Merflop. This was also the beginning of the Merflops and the Badussian alliance.

Tribes

After this, CaveFlops started venturing and settling farther in Badussyland. They found the Poosina Lake, a fresh drinking source, and tons of fertile land. More and more CaveFlops started coming to Badussyland, and they started founding tribal kingdoms and fishing communities. The Slayanans founded the Kingdom of Slayana, located in modern-day Cupcakkina, the Clitri founded the Clitrian Kingdom, located in modern-day Clitria, and the Ussy founded the Ussian Kingdom, located in modern-day Badussina.

Shortly after, the Clitrian Kingdom declared war on the Kingdom of Slayana, who were in an alliance with the Ussian Kingdom, who also declared war on the Clitrian Kingdom. This started the 5 year-long Slayana-Ussy War, in which the Clitrian Kingdom fell and the Kingdom of Slayana and the Ussian Kingdom invaded their land and stole all of their riches. The Kingdom of Slayana and the Ussian Kingdom decided to unify as one country, which created the Kingdom of Bussia.

Kingdom of Bussia

The Kingdom of Bussia spanned from modern-day Clitria, Badussina, and Cupcakkina. There was no official ruler of the Kingdom of Bussia, as there were only tribe chiefs. The name "Badussyland" started appearing in 700 BC, but the ancient name for Badussyland was Baedalussikos. The tribes founded many cities such as Baedalussi Coøchi (modern-day Badussy City), Kourdiville (modern-day Cardiville), and Slaeyaniville (modern-day Slayville). The Kingdom of Bussia was mostly peaceful, but they did get into one war with the Productsi tribe on the Isle of Essexyproducts after the Productsi started attacking the Kingdom of Bussia's naval ports.

The Kingdom of Bussia's army sailed to the Isle of Essexyproducts and occupied it. The Productsi tribe decided to peacefully surrender and in return, the Kingdom of Bussia let them keep their historical cities. If you go to the Isle of Essexyproducts by ferry from Vajussy, you may see that the island still holds many influences from the ancient Productsi tribe. By 400 BC, the Kingdom of Bussia now had an official ruler who was named Jiafei Ina.

Relations with Floptropica (1503)

Years after Badussyland became independent Flops in Badussyland thought Floptropica and The Badussy Empire were legends and Fairytales, but a woman named Jiafei Ina, sought to find the "lost" island. Jiafei Ina bid eventually find the Island and uncovered Floptropica and they became unified once eagain.

Things got worse after the Badussian mpire began to be public, as Andrew Tate, Emperor of the Da Boyzian Empire, waged war against the flops. This war was called "The Badussyland War". However, the flops won and they almost took the entire da boyzian empire except Daboyzland.

The Bussy Committee and the Cardiac Era

After the death of the last remaining member of the Fei dynasty, the Badussian council decided to conduct the Bussy Commitee—a committee that would determine the now desolated country's next monarch. To make herself queen, Cardiac B. Arrest bribed the committee members with payola. Cardiac was crowned queen on March 4, 1901, in the Badussyland Palace, to the uproar of her people.

Due to her unlegitimate claim to the throne, many Badussians started several riots across the country. To counter the riots, she created a secret police, the Cardiac Secret Police, to stamp out and execute anyone who tried to revolt against her.

Badussy War II

Start Of The War

During a meeting with Abby Lee of the Abby Lee Dance Company, she and Abby had a disagreement over the location of a possible trade route. At the height of the debate, Cardiac, being the messy queen she was, threatened to pull Abby's wig off. In a reasonable rage, Abby called off the meeting and went to her allies for back-up. Tensions rose, as more and more people from all walks of life caught wind of what had happened, and soon, other countries started to choose sides in the ever growing dispute. The USB and Twinkia decided to side with the ALDC, and the WAP decided to side with Badussyland.

Peace with Queen Abby

Knowing from their mistakes, the council decided to elect the next monarch. They elected Aprilussy as empress. The new empress was crowned on May 31, 1905, and soon, peace was made between the ALDC and Badussyland. The war stopped, and people rejoiced in the streets. At the same time, Emperor Tate the 4th was making plans to declare war on Badussyland.

Aftermath

Between 1904 and 1991, tragedy struck and the nation went from prosperous and slaying to wrecked in Badussy War II. Many citizens left to form the Badussy diaspora and the goddesses cried as Cardiac Bhey and Abbison Leigh Mylner destroyed their beautiful land. Many Badussy diasporans faced discrimination for their slaying beliefs. 100,000,000 died during the war and 100,404,666 were injured. 420,069 are still grieving to this day.

In 2022, Da Boyz invaded the recovering country and even stole icon Jiafei and tried to make her straight. Conscription was employed in Badussy Land and all 1 trillion inhabitants and 500 billion Badussy diasporans (at least 700 billion returned to their homeland) have enlisted to fight for their slaying country.

In summer of 2023, a young person from Floptropica decided to take a stand and, in honor of the trying to get more hope in Badussy Land, made a flag. The white, orange and blue symbolized slay colors and how much DaBoyz had taken away from them, but as they were inverted and switched vertically, it meant they could still try to take a stand. The dove in the middle symbolized the lives lost for Badussy Lands.

Local tradition

The first recorded history of Badussyland was in 5000 BC (Before Cussay). Goddess of Products Krepyl (Ancient Badussyish for Jiafei) entrusted the whole planet Earth to the tribes of Slayana, now known as the modern Flop people. However, after 1AD (Anussy Dominussy), persecution of the post-Slayanan people forced them to flee to enclaves, and after ancient wars, Goddess Nikela Majharega provided a rainbow for the Slays to ride to safety in the modern land of Badussy, known by the ancient tribes as Baedalussikos. Ancient Slayanan ruins are located all over the world.

Magazines and Newspapers

Before the Badussy War II, there were quite a lot of magazines and newspapers in Badussyland. They started appearing very early on in Badussyland. The earliest known Badussian newspaper and also the earliest known Badussian magazine were both founded in XVII century. While the newspaper, which is named he Daily Badussyland Wonders, was published from 1673 to 1764, the magazine, which is named Girl, YES! and was originally known as Of Course, Ladies!, had been published since 1690 and is still being published to this day.

The time when Badussian newspapers and magazines started to bloom and started appearing a lot was in the XIX century, when over 50 magazines and newspapers were founded. However, when Badussy War II struck, a lot of newspapers and magazines started dissapearing. In that period, which is often being dubbed as "the extinction of Badussian newspapers and magazines", big variety Badussian magazines and newspapers dissapeared during the Badussy War II. A lot of the Badussian newspapers and magazines that still exist to this day have moved Floptropica and some even switched online and continued publication on the web. Only the minority stays in Badussyland even after everything that had happened there.

Although a lot of Badussian magazines and newspapers have discontinued their publication during the Badussy War II, the Badussian newspapers and TVs are frequently used in some cities to learn about news concerning Badussyland. Such cities were severely damaged by the Badussy Wars and don't have access to Wi-Fi, which could explain why in such cities newspapers and TVs are used more often than online publications. Due to the lack of Wi-Fi in such cities, some newspapers that continued their publication on the web continue their publication physically in these cities to provide news to their residents.
